Typical Daily 
Curriculum Schedule
The daily schedule provides a snapshot of what our students participate in throughout the day. This is a generally followed resource and there are occasional changes that can occur due to weather or other circumstances.
7:30 – 8:00am
School opens, free play inside with manipulative activities, crayons, art, singing songs, etc.
8:00 – 9:00am
Outside free play (weather permitting) or inside activities until 8:55am when circletime begins.
9:00 – 9:15am
Circle time with daily Montessori activity presentation (outlined in the monthly newsletter)
9:15 – 10:30am
Work time with Montessori materials, computer class time using Apple iMac Wi-Fi compatible computers
10:35 – 10:40am
Snack Time (fresh fruit or crackers w/cheese, milk, juice)
10:40 – 10:55am
Second circle time with Language development using SPA, second Montessori activity presentation outlined in the monthly newsletter.
10:55 – 11:00am
Lunch preparation (washing hands)
11:00 – 11:45am
Lunch time outside (weather permitting)
11:45 – 12:15pm
Lunch, clean-up, Outside free play (weather permitting)
12:15 – 2:00pm
Quiet/Rest period for all students (with provided resting mats)
2:00 – 2:15pm
Wake-up circle with songs, put nap bedding materials away
2:15 – 3:00pm
Snack time (variety of fresh fruit or crackers with cheese, milk, etc.), Outdoor free play (weather permitting)
3:00 – 4:00pm
Alternating daily activities including: Arts & crafts, Mandarin and Spanish language instruction, Gymnastics, Music & Movement, phonic workbooks, etc.
4:00 – 4:30pm
Clean-up, Light snack, and Outdoor free play (weather permitting).
4:30pm – 5:00pm
Reading Stories, and/or small group activities, Clean-up and prepare for pick-up time.
5:00pm
School closes promptly at 5:00pm.
